Freddie Mercury hated to have his photo taken! A select group of trusted photographers were permitted to photograph Queen’s performances and the band’s photo sessions were very controlled. In the late seventies, I lucked out and was invited to Queen’s post concert party at The Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas. I had the wonderful sit down dinner and I was free to take all the photos I wanted. I knew that Freddie was really camera shy so I only took a few photos. I was really shy back then too!
